About Lilly Tjeng

Born on July 15, 1990 in Hamilton, Ontario, Lilly Tjeng discovered her passion for painting at the early age of seven.

Lilly Tjeng sees the world through the eyes of a young teenager who is different than most. While her peers are listening to the latest music on the pop charts, Lilly has a keen interest in Classical and Jazz. When others spend time defeating aliens on their computers or game consoles, she gets involved in her community and church events, regularly visits art shows or concerts. Then there's that passion for painting and sketching interesting subjects that need to be captured as part of Lilly's life. On top of all that there's also school, homework and time for family and friends.

For most people, this busy schedule would be nerve-wrecking, but for Lilly Tjeng, it is part of an adventurous lifestyle that brings a constant array of learning and enjoyment. She even finds time for her friends to share the laughter and silliness that's part of every young girl's life.

You only need to look at Lilly's paintings to find much of her in each brush stroke. Whether it's the tranquility of her nature scenes and still life or the love for her friends and those memories around her. The images are a reflection of how she sees the world and often reveal a wish for people to stop their hectic lives and take a moment to see the extraordinary beauty of God's creations.

Lilly's talent has been featured in several magazines and newspapers and her work is displayed in many public and private collections. Lilly supports her art by selling merchandise such as prints and greeting cards featuring her many paintings in full colour.
